Move-Out Operational Process
Pre Move-Out Check-In is a process to ensure both entities are not held liable for damages or improper packing fees. This process will be done at the conclusion of the students packing and prior to them leaving campus. Once the process has been completed, the student is approved to officially move-out for the summer and leave their belongings in the room for our services transport to storage. The student will not be present for the actual transfer of items to the storage facility. For this reason, it is vital to complete the Pre Move-Out Check-In process prior to leaving campus, ensuring a secure transition of items. There will be two options to satisfy this requirement, the first of which is highly encouraged.
- A Check-In Form opening on 4/25 for students to submit photos of their fully packed boxes, ensuring all items are packed correctly and according to our professional standards. Rollins Moving Services highly encourages this option as it gives a physical database of the students belongings packed and ready for moving. This process should be done at the conclusion of your packing and 2 hours prior to the students departure from campus. All items should be fully packed, taped, stacked in one location of your room, and ready for moving! - An In-Person Check-Out Meeting, strictly for students who absolutely need it. There will be a link sent out to students on 4/25, where students will be given the option to schedule a 20 minute time-block within the dates 4/27-4/29. This scheduled time will be the students In-Person Check-Out meeting. This meeting will be held in the students place of residence, where one of our executive team members can ensure that all items are packed correctly prior to the student leaving campus.
